JUST REDUCED PRICE!!...WINDIGO was built in Nova Scotia in 1938 and restored and upgraded extensively to sail once again in 2024 and beyond. Recently appraised at $650K. She is glorious under sail with her sleek yawl rig and sweet lines. This is your opportunity to own and sail a true classic. She was rebuilt with West System epoxy-saturated wood overlays to provide a sound and waterproof hull and fiberglass decks. All of WINDIGO's spars are brand new by Selden. Her sails are also new, built by Doyle. Running rigging, standing rigging, canvas covers, awning, and dodger...are all new in 2024. She gleams with custom bronze winch and block bases, stanchions, winches, and bow and stern pulpits. You will definitely be awestruck, inspired, and longing to sail WINDIGO when you see her. Additional Information
Stepping down the companionway, Windigo has a traditional layout with port and starboard settees in the main cabin forward of the galley which extends full-width of the cabin. The unique companionway ladder folds up with a scissor action to provide additional space for the chef, yet it stays attached for easy redeployment. The Ultrasuede upholstery is new and has a light attractive neutral color. The starboard settee converts to a slide-out double.
Forward of the main cabin is the head/shower which is full width, encompassing a split arrangement using both the port and starboard sides to provide a comfortable space to relax while taking care of daily business and hygiene. An upholstered seating area is provided here.
Forward is the V-Berth which has a filler cushion to make the berth a double. An overhead fold-down TV is included. Storage is found both port and starboard. At the foot of the V-Berth is access to the anchor chain locker.
