Step aboard the timeless elegance of AMADOUR, a sumptuous Marconi Cutter built in 1938 by the renowned Chantier de la Liane in Marseille. This classic yacht embodies the golden age of yachting with her teak planking over oak frames, combining strength and beauty. Measuring 15.90 metres in overall length, AMADOUR offers the perfect balance between marine performance and period refinement.
The yacht boasts a prestigious history: Lord Mountbatten, the last Viceroy of India, and the famous actress Rita Hayworth both sailed aboard her. From 1961 to 1991, she was owned by Jean Borghini, then Minister of Finance of Monaco, before passing through the hands of several passionate collectors, including Dutch entrepreneur Tom Van Der Bruggen. He restored and modernised her interior between 2007 and 2010 at the Gilbert Pasqui shipyard in Villefranche-sur-Mer, while carefully preserving her authentic character.
AMADOUR is built for classic regattas and has competed in iconic events such as Antibes, Saint-Tropez, Porquerolles, Nice, and Cannes, proudly securing third place at the 2010 Ladies Cup. On board, comfort is ensured thanks to recent renovations: a warm interior adorned with varnished wood, discreet modern equipment, a practical galley, renovated bathroom, audio system, and 4G connectivity.
