When Chris-Craft began using plywood in construction of their traditional boats, they found they had quite a bit of scrap left over. Someone came up with the idea of offering kit boats for owners to build themselves. Chris-Craft provided all the pieces, just like building a model airplane, but full size. We still get calls occasionally, someone has an unbuilt kit in their garage rafters, maybe guys' eyes were bigger than their skills or time allowed.

This pristine original Chris-Craft Kit Boat is a contemporary build by skilled owner with professional boatbuilder oversight. Every detail period is correct, including Johnson 18 hp electric start engine, correct fuel tank, steering and dash panel.
