~ SPARKMAN & STEPHENS MODERN (2016) CLASSIC (1966) KETCH
TAKE MiSCHKA CRUISING EVERYWHERE ~
~MiSCHKA~ ex SEEADLER ex HALUA was built at the Burger Boat Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin in 1966, one of the very best aluminum yacht builders in the world. Sparkman & Stephens yacht designers were in their prime, designing for the Titans of the '60's. The build pedigree of this yacht is stellar! Her 2016 TOTAL rebuild Beach House Bamboo villa design makes this iconic classic yacht so modern, livable and cruise worthy!
Between 2014 and 2016 ~MiSCHKA~ was rebuilt at Lauderdale Marine Center in Ft. Lauderdale. She was completely gutted/sandblasted to bare aluminum, surveyed; about 30% of the tanks and bottom were re-plated. Awlgrip paint systems were applied throughout. Every piece of equipment inside the yacht was replaced with top-of-the-line products. The deck house was removed and was artfully redesigned & lowered to a flush deck house center and aft cockpit profile above with her beautiful sheer line using sections of the original S&S Burger structures. The interior configuration was transformed into an expansive, wide-open, light-bathed, 2 bed/2 ensuite bath modern bamboo, beach house cruising villa (3rd stateroom option). She can reach anywhere there is 5’6” of water with the centerboard up (15' with centerboard down) and 64' of air draft (Bahamas & ICW Friendly).
~MiSCHKA~ spent the next 7 years after her rebuild in the Exumas with her owner loving living aboard, mostly off the grid. She was chock-a-block with family, friends & tons of water sports. The owners are building their Bahama dream house now with more kids on the way. The time has come to secure new costodians. She deserves an adventurous family to serve as a sumptuous, solid family world cruising yacht.
~Mischka~ does need some exterior cosmetic & deck work. As she is, you can sail away. Mechanically, she has
less than 600 original engine hours. The interior has had light use, built new 2014 - 2016. Currently in very nice condition.
~MiSCHKA~ is a thoroughly transformed modern classic with a strong pedigreed history, for visionary adventurers looking for a big, bold and distinctive yacht with extraordinary character, style and heritage with an all modern interior and machinery.
And.. She's a Burger ~~
ALL NEW INTERIOR FROM BARE METAL 2014 - 2016
The yacht was totally refitted and customized between 2014 to 2016 to have a spacious and wide open interior, inspiring an expansive bamboo beach house villa. When the original salon house was removed, the deck house profile and salon floor were lowered 3 feet to create a one step deck level Irioko hard wood floor throughout the interior. Sweeping cabin-side windows, 5 opening deck hatches,14 opening port lights, and 16 hull windows flood the interior with endless lighting hues on the bamboo and Irioko finishes.
All the way forward is the chain locker with a water tight bulkhead. Access is from a foredeck hatch and from the forward guest shower forward bulkhead hatch.
The ensuite guest head is aft of the chain locker with shower, a Techna electric flush fresh water toilet and sink, new in 2016 port and starboard with medicine/storage locker. The full width private forward guest stateroom has a queen bed to port with reading lamp and a settee/bunk to starboard, and 3/4 height linen/medical locker.

On the aft side of the equipment locker is the main electrical switchboard and monitoring panel, new in 2016.
One step down, to port, aft of the main salon is the fully modern galley. There is an 8' bamboo countertop outboard with 2 hull windows and 2 opening port lights for light and ventilation.
