The Lunstroo 56 is a unique and one-of-a-kind piece of Dutch Craftsmanship, and a ture treasure to the long tradition of yachtbuilding that the Netherlands are known for. The vessel was launched in 1974, but has had a complete refit in 2015 at the Nicolaas Witsen yard, where no expense has been spared. The vessel has 2 x 135 hp new Perkins engines, which are known for their low revs and low noise level. During the refit, the following was carried out: New solid teak deck (22 mm), new teak cabin roof (15 mm), All varnished teak elements of the cabinroof superstructure are newly manufactured, chromed portholes, newly lined window frames, Entire electrical installation has been renewed incl. pumps and other equipment, new navigation equipment, new propeller shafts, propeller shaft bearings, thrust bearings and propellers. All tanks have been opened, cleaned and inspected. (Both diesel, water and waste water tanks.) Piping is measured by wall thickness. Hull newly painted in Awl Grip. All clear coat with impregnating resin and Double UV Coating from Dubbelcoat Van de IJssel. (with the exception of mast and boom), Morse engine control converted to electronic control, Kabola CV with hot water supply installed, new upholstery, new mattresses. The Lunstroo 56 has a lot of living space in the saloon and on the aft deck. It is a unique motor yacht with high-quality finish with modern comfort and new technology, suitable for a longer stay. stainless steel railing, stainless steel edge, spacious seating in the saloon, 7 berths, chrome windshield, rear entrance, 2 x escape hatch in the front, Miele washing machine, headroom approx. 2 meters, rear cabin suitable for crew cabin (including entrance engine room), well-insulated engine room. Stereo set BOSE Indoor and Outdoor (2015), Lowe TV + Lift (2015), CVO certificied, bilge alarm available in 3 zones. It's current owner has stored the front mast and added a winch for easy lowering of the back mast. In one of the front cabins one of the bunk beds was removed to create more space.
