Definitely the best Vindö on the market. The owner did a big refit in 2021/2022 to sail the seven seas. Everything is perfectly maintained and up to date. She is based in Palma, available for viewing and ready for this summer season.
The offshore Vindö cruiser-40 from Nötesunds Varv on Orust, is in many ways regarded as the predecessor of Hallberg-Rassy. Everything in first class workmanship, the result of nearly fifty years of experience.
An encapsulated lead keel and extra strong hull construction provides the best possible safety margins. Antifouling and maintenance done in September 2024.
The engine has three cylinders. Sea water only cools the internal volume of water-glycolcoolant via a cast iron heat exchanger. The cylinder head is made of cast iron. The dieselpump is mechanical, which enables the engine to continue to operate even if theelectrical system fails.
