Description by owner:
- 'The ruse of Rolf Jacobsson' -.
The story of the RJ 140 begins in 1972, when a bunch of sailing enthusiasts wanted a boat that could beat the supreme Finnish Swan's in the Swedish Gotland Off Shore Races.
Now, now more than 50 years later, they still do!
It was Swedish designer Rolf Jacobsson who was commissioned and designed this so-called Swan 2.0.
And so began the Wonder of Tollare Bruk in Saltsjö-Boo near Stockholm.
Fast, solid, eye-catchingly beautiful and importantly: Built to sail!
The Great Yacht for Ocean lovers, according to its brochure.
Nothing could be further from the truth!
The carvings by, among others, Hanoman in the cabin are a silent testament to her trip to Indonesia.
Known as one of the finest within the RJ140 fleet, Salsa's spacious interior consists primarily of clear-varnished teak. This gives her a beautiful classic, warm look.
The true sailor will not believe his/her luck with this beautiful, elegant lady. He/she will be admired and hated...when she takes off again!
She has not lacked love and attention for the past 5 years.
A new engine with folding propeller, new Garmin navigation and autopilot, complete painting in 2 components, teak deck serviced, and the cushions have been replaced and upholstered in a stylish sand color.
Now it is time for someone else to cherish and care for her.
