The Hatteras 65 LRC is the gold standard in long-range cruising and “Carry On” is a vessel you need to experience firsthand to appreciate. Built in 1982 and extensively upgraded, this yacht offers the reliability of a classic combined with modern luxury and performance. After an exhaustive two-year restoration by Allied Marine in Ft. Lauderdale and Ross Marine in Charleston (2014–2016), Carry On was brought to impeccable condition, with over $1.3 million invested. Several upgrades from 2020 until 2024.

2014/2015 – Stage 1 of Major Refit – Allied Marine: Fort Lauderdale, FL
• All Cruisair reverse cycle air conditioning units serviced
• All new digital temperature controls installed throughout
• Engine room – went through and replaced any pumps, hoses, and clamps that were suspect
• Naiad stabilizer service and updated
• 9’ Sq. fins upgraded from 6’ sq.
• Glendinning engine synchronizer service
• Installed new 24V system –batteries, breakers, charger, etc.
• 12V system upgrades – new batteries, systems, charger
• 32V system serviced
• All new overhead LED lights throughout
• All new headliners throughout
• All new décor – custom furniture, carpet, soft goods, linens, curtains, and blinds
• Lower helm sea recovered in Ultra leather
• (2) New Bimini tops
• All new cushions on bridge deck
• New Pompanette flybridge helm seats and footrests including custom cushions
• All new navigation electronics upper and lower helm – old wiring was completely removed and replaced new
• Dinghy davit carne rebuilt
