1990 Ericson 38-200 | 39ft

El Ganso comes from the drawing board of legendary Ericson designer, Bruce King. 120 38-200s were made between the years of 1986-1990. El Ganso is a very nice and well maintained example of King's appealing "classic-plastic" design. Ericsons are known for their quality build and nice sailing characteristics. El Ganso was built with a wing keel, drawing just over 5' allowing easier access into shallow waters.

The current owner has had her for 10 years and upgraded many of the systems and sail inventory. Raymarine electronics installed in 2018; AP, AIS, Radar and Chartplotter. The standing rigging and RF (Profurl) were also replaced 2018. The dodger is 2 years old. There is a 35 HP Yanmar w/2238 hrs. 200 Watts of solar. 2 banks of batteries (5 total). The nav lights and water heater are new. The 135% jib is 4 years old and the main is in fair-good condition. The stuffing box was repacked in 2023.
