Manufacture provided description
A state of the art boat when she was introduced in 1989, the Viking
57C was in production for two years before evolving into the now
iconic Viking 58 Convertible (1991–2000). At the time, the 57C was
the largest and most impressive boat in the Viking fleet, a design
and engineering milestone that helped solidify Viking’s hold of
the fast-growing luxury sportfish market. The interior dimensions
are impressive for a boat this size. Stepping inside through the
starboard-side sliding door, the salon is dominated by a large
L-shaped Ultraleather sofa to port with rod storage below. The
galley is forward, and a teak TV cabinet, wet bar and an L-shaped
dinette are to starboard, opposite the galley. Note that the master
stateroom is forward in this layout rather than amidships as it
on most Viking convertibles. Both guest cabins have twin single
berths, and a stacked washer/dryer is located in a companionway
closet. Cockpit features include a tackle center, freezer, in-deck
fish box, livewell, gunwale rod holders, and direct access to the
standup engine room. The only engines used in the Viking 57C
were 1,080hp 12V92 Detroits (25 knots cruise/28–30 knots top).
The galley is fully equipped with appliances including a stainless steel side by side Kitchen Aid refrigerator/freezer with ice & water in door, microwave oven, 3-burner electric stove top, water heater and garbage disposal. The galley area features teak and holly flooring and teak cabinetry. Also included, Kenmore dishwasher and reverse osmosis drinking water system. Seating for five on dinette sofa adjacent from galley.
