The Bayliner 3988 is a great family cruiser with roomy accommodations and a long list of standard equipment.   It's stood the test of time for Northwest Cruising with classic lines and one of the most comfortable and usable interiors in it's class.

She's built on a shallow-deadrise modified-V hull with moderate beam and prop pockets to reduce shaft angles.  Access to the large cockpit - great for fishing! - is from an enlarged and raised swim platform through the transom door.  And access to the salon from the cockpit is just a step up.  There's a ladder to the large flybridge with seating for everyone and great visibility.

Inside, the two-stateroom two-head floor plan is arranged with an island bed forward and a double berth in the second stateroom that extends below the elevated dinette in the salon. 

The light-filled salon with its U-shaped up galley, settee, dinette and standard lower helm with excellent visibility underway - is all well arranged for usability and comfort.
