 This is one of the later boats produced that has the carbon fiber mast (hence the 260), but is much like the original Hinterhoeller built Nonsuch 26. The boat boasts quality construction, an abundance of comfort and beautiful interior detailing. In addition, with the keel-stepped, unstayed mast, wishbone boom and single sail, this cat-rigged boat is easily sailed by one, but can accommodate 4 in two cabins with 6’2” headroom.  performance and accommodations. The carbon mast is a bonus over the original spun aluminum mast in that weight aloft is significantly reduced, which enhances performance, eliminates pitch-poling and you can carry the sail plan into higher wind ranges before the need to reef.  The wishbone boom functions like a boom with a loose-footed sail, and moves fore and aft with a choker line which acts as an outhaul to increase or decrease draft in various wind conditions. The beam is carried well aft and the boat is so easy to work on with large spaces below decks that are accessible.
