This Colin Archer, named Hestia, was built by Bronsveen in 2002-2003. The first owner, a shipwright, cleverly designed the interior to accommodate up to seven adults. The current owners lived on the yacht for years and took their passengers to Scandinavia. The boat has been exceptionally well-maintained; she has recently been repainted, new anodes, new batteries, etc. In winter, the boat has always been moored in Lemmer, and in summer, the owners, now without charter clients, spend a lot of time on the water.
This Colin Archer measures just under 15 meters in length and is highly maneuverable. The jiggled steel vessel is double-sided welded, making it incredibly strong. The powerful 4-cylinder Deutz engine delivers 106 hp and is extremely reliable. The 2-cylinder Vetus generator ensures excellent power management. Naturally, the Hestia has a heater, boiler, and showers on board.
