The Swedish Comfortina 42 is truly a picture of a ship! Neither cost nor effort have been spared by her owner to keep her in this condition.
For her future owner, costly investments have already been made such as new navigation equipment, teak deck, standing and running rigging making her ready to sail and enjoy.
The cockpit is well sheltered from the elements with a good seat for the helmsman who has the (electric) genoa winches and mainsheet within reach. The cockpit benches are quite deep which gives good back support.
The gangways are wide and easily accessible to the bow with a solid teak handle on the cabin superstructure. The interior is bright and here you can see the Swedish quality come out, nice curves and high-quality workmanship. On the port side we find the L-shaped galley with top-loading cooler, double sink and gimballed stove and plenty of cabinet space. Also here is access to the aft cabin with ample closet space and spacious double bed.
To starboard is the navigation corner equipped with various built-in appliances and drawers. A good 1800 chart set still fits here!
The saloon has a cozy round seating area and has a relaxed feel due to the long windows. In the bow the 2nd wet cell with V-bed equipped with plenty of closet space and small sofa with around the V-bed also plenty of storage options.
In the stern on the starboard side is also a wet cell with access to the 1-person aft cabin.
