Hunter Marine originally focused on meeting the intersection of good build quality and an attractive price for customers, selling as many as 2,000 sailboats in a year at the peak of its production. MEGGAR is powered by an 18 hp 2004 Yanmar 2GM20F-YEU with 2295 hours, a mast roller reefing system on the Mainsail, and furling Genoa. She is B&R rigged and set up to easily sail single-handedly. The cockpit has a table, shower, and a Bimini. She is equipped with a VHF, compass, Raymarine ST Speed/Depth (2023), Garmin GPS/AIS Radar, Wind/Speed Direction, Autopilot, plotter, AM/FM/MP3, and speakers.
