Lone Star is a 2005 Tiara 3200 Open that is in very nice cosmetic condition. Tiara offers a great combination of comfort and fishing features, and enjoys a good reputation for build quality, fit and finish.  Come see her in beautiful Charleston, SC.

Known Issues:

Port side Volvo D6 -310 is in need of service, rebuild or replacement. The engine will crank but there is knocking sound. The source of that knocking is unknown. Assuming the worst, a quote is in hand for a rebuild/replacement engine from Western Branch Diesel, an authorized Volvo dealer (available upon request). The quote by Western Branch includes a 1 year warranty.

Westerbeke generator is inoperable and is in need of replacement.

The starboard side Volvo D6 runs well, suggested service upon repair or replacement of the port side motor.

Engines have approx. 500 hours runtime.

Any reasonable offer will be considered. The vessel is subject to survey or inspection in any way with the limitations noted above.

The Tiara 3200 Open was tiling some big shoes when she replaced the popular 3100 Open in the Tiara fleet for 2004. Gracefully styled and boasting some impressive performance figures with standard gas power, the 3200 is designed to satisfy the needs of both anglers and cruisers. Her bi-level deck layout is arranged with L-Shaped lounge seating to port on the helm deck, and an aft-facing seat (or optional bait prep station or wet bar) is positioned behind the helm seat. A live well can be added in place of the standard fold-down transom seat in the cockpit. Below decks, the well-appointed interior of the 3200 Open is an appealing blend of solid teak joinery, Ultraleather seating, and hardwood flooring. A privacy curtain separates the forward berth from the salon, and the settee converts to a double lower berth and single upper berth. The entire helm deck lifts on hydraulic rams for access to the engine room. Additional features include an integral bow pulpit, wide side decks, in-deck fish boxes, swim platform, and prop pockets. A fiberglass hardtop was a popular option. Crusader 385hp gas engines cruise at 22 knots (about 30 knots top), and 310hp Volvo diesels cruise at 25 knots (28-29 top).
