Sexy, sporty KJOS is hull number seven of Palmer Johnson’s semi-custom 120 series, and the youngest of the range. At 124’3” (37.9m), she combines the space and usability of a flybridge yacht with the attractive style of an open yacht. This particular Palmer Johnson 120 is one of the highest performing yachts of her kind on the market, with a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 25 knots. She is the most technically advanced of all her predecessors, and the only one equipped with TRAC zero speed stabilizers.
Crafted with the highest attention to detail, KJOS boasts both interior and exterior design by Nuvolari & Lenard, well known and respected Italian designers. Sliding doors with stainless steel frames and tinted glass provide a sleek entrance into her main salon. The ambiance here is sophisticated, luxurious and comfortable, with plush seating laid out to encourage socializing, with a custom showpiece cabinet hiding a flat-screen television. Moving forward is a custom dining table featuring wood with inset fine leather, glass and marble with seating for eight. This space also features a full-service bar with sink, and an undercounter ice maker and refrigerator. Her galley enjoys custom cabinetry with marble countertops and is fully equipped.
KJOS can comfortably accommodate eight guests across four cabins. Her owner’s stateroom, upholstered in fine fabrics and finishings, is spacious and airy and has plenty of storage, with a king-size bed, nightstands, and a desk with vanity and flip-up mirror. An entertainment cabinet contains a flat screen television and media storage and is built from the same high-gloss cross-grained wood accents as the bed and desk for seamless style. A built-in sofa and walk-in wardrobe complete the amenities, along with an ensuite his-and-hers bathroom boasting marble, glass and stainless steel fixtures and finishings. Her three guest cabins also have a full entertainment setup, plenty of storage and ensuites. KJOS can sleep five crew including a captain’s cabin with ensuite.
KJOS’ exterior spaces are well suited to socializing and relaxing. Her aft deck is particularly well suited to entertaining; it’s extremely spacious and comfortable with eating and lounging areas, and a large bathing platform to foster a genuine connection with the water. Above, her flybridge enjoys panoramic views with three built-in seating arrangements, a large sunpad and coffee table. Cabinets hide a fridge and icemaker.
