The Class40 OUFTI 40 is an offshore racing sailboat designed by the famous naval architect Sam Manuard and built in 2011 by the renowned shipyard JPS Production.
A true pioneer of its generation, OUFTI 40 made a name for itself right from its launch by winning the Class40 World Championship in 2011, followed by a second place in 2012. This impressive record showcases its high level of performance. It has continued its career in the biggest offshore races, such as the recent Québec – Saint-Malo.
Today, OUFTI 40 is an ideal opportunity for a Class40 entry project, with a proven boat, high potential, and ready to embark on new oceanic adventures.
This Mach 40 was upgraded in 2018 to the V2 configuration, with major improvements to the structure, rigging, and ballasts, and has since benefited from a continuous optimization program. Fully compliant with the latest Class40 regulations, including those for 2024, it is a competition-ready sailing platform.
Built with epoxy/glass fiber sandwich and PVC foam core under vacuum infusion, this Class40 displays great robustness and lightness. Its carbon rigging (mast, boom, retractable rotating bowsprit) is by Axxon Composites, with a rich and recent set of sails (Techniques Voiles, Armor Voiles, Elvstrøm). The boat is equipped with high-end electronic systems with dual NKE autopilot, complete instruments, radar, AIS, GPS, and satellite communication via Fleet Broadband 150.
