The slightly asymmetric coach roof gives priority to the starboard deck, which combined with a generous sliding door alongside the helm position, allows the helmsman to lean out or indeed step straight on to the wide side deck and attend to warps and fenders when coming alongside.
The slightly narrower and raised Port side deck remains easily traversable.
