The 2024 Boston Whaler 280 Dauntless is the flagship of the Dauntless line, blending the rugged fishability of a center console with the comfort and versatility of a family day boat. At just under 28 feet, it’s designed for both inshore and near-offshore adventures, with Boston Whaler’s renowned unsinkable hull ensuring confidence in all conditions.
Its deep-V hull and 18° deadrise provide a smooth, stable ride, whether you’re navigating choppy open water or cruising shallow bays. The spacious bow offers convertible lounge seating and abundant storage, while the helm is equipped for modern electronics and features a comfortable leaning post that doubles as an aft-facing bench. The aft deck incorporates a casting platform, livewell, swim platform, and plenty of rod holders, making it equally capable for serious fishing or relaxed cruising.
Premium finishes, stainless steel hardware, and clever space-saving design give it a refined yet durable feel. With a range of engine options up to 600 horsepower, the 280 Dauntless delivers strong performance and agile handling, while amenities like a head compartment, freshwater shower, and integrated entertainment options make it a capable all-day boat for family outings, fishing trips, and everything in between.
