Rewriting Luxury: The 2024 Riva 48 Dolceriva—Where Iconic Heritage Meets Bold Innovation

However close you get, the quality and detailing just get better. The chromed brass gleams. The stainless steel is polished to a mirror sheen. Riva’s iconic lacquered mahogany—coated with layer upon layer of gloss varnish—adds to the radiance. 

Down below, finely stitched leather in the sofa and details provide a tactile contrast with the gloss surfaces, and luxurious finishes. The open galley with Corian counters is sufficiently equipped for both day cruising and weekending. The lavish master cabin includes a sliding door for privacy and full-sized head with shower, while a second twin-berth cabin amidships is ideal for kids. Comfort is enhanced with a Seakeeper gyro stabilizer and zoned climate.

On deck, helm controls are thoughtfully placed with a view through double curvature smoked glass. Behind the helm, sofas along each side impart a convivial air perfect for socializing around a fold-out mahogany table. Moving aft are two generous sun lounges, a sculpted transom and an expanding swim platform.

Riva has always built powerful boats, and the Volvo D13-1000 diesel, sophisticated auto-trim function, integrated control system, including a joystick and docking mode function, makes for powerful performance, smooth operation and easy close quarter handling.
