Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Structural engineering is by High Modulus, LIARA is constructed using foam with a single skin. E-glass/aramid hybrid fibre is used for durability and the cabin structure, moulded chain plates and deck are reinforced with carbon fibre.
• Carbon vacuum infused cored hull construction using E-Glass.
• Carbon superstructure and deck construction.
• Cored composite deck construction.
• Bonded teak laid decks to ring deck and to the cockpit area.
• Stainless steel and teak external trim.
• Use of Nomex core on interior joinery.
• Hull repainted Matterhorn white in Awlcraft (2017).
• Antifouling applied (2024).
• All joints on the teak deck checked and repaired where necessary (2025).
• The foredeck gelcoat repainted with an anti-slip paint (2025).
• The entire gelcoat on the deck waxed and polished (2025).
• Minor paint repairs (2025).
• Decks recaulked and new deck paint Spring 2025.

Keel & Rudder:

• Bizalloy 80 fin keel and lead cast bulb reduce draft and wetted surface area. At the same time stability is maintained.
• Fully balanced, foam filled carbon rudder.
• Emergency jury steering tiller.
