RCD Status: The yacht conforms with the essential safety requirements of Directive 94/25EC or RCDII (2013/53/EU as appropriate (Recreational Craft Directive) and is categorised A – “Ocean”.

Hull, Deck & Superstructure Construction:

• Heavy duty GRP hull moulding, hand laid to Discovery's precise laminating system incorporating multi-axial and unidirectional reinforcements. 
• Hand laid composite deck sandwich construction using foam core stiffening. The deck is mechanically fastened and bonded to the hull through the entire length and to all main bulkheads resulting in a strong and integrated unit.
• Kevlar reinforcement to bow section, from mast bulkhead, for additional strengthening.
• Arch in carbon reinforced composite with integrated mainsheet system and cockpit downlights.
• Synthetic Teak to side decks, cockpit, including sundowner & dolphin watching seats, bathing transom platform & foredeck - Colour: Ash Elite.
• Copper coating Antifoul applied below waterline to hull and keel. Re-applied winter 2024.
• White with blue/red Southerly lines.
• 14 x vertical ports & 2 x horizontal ports.
• Electrically lowered bathing platform with remote.
• MANUKA has been lifted out and stored on the hard every winter.
• MANUKA has been professionally maintained by SRM Marine Limited since launch.
• Anodes have been replaced twice each year.

Keel & Rudder:

• Keel lift strop replaced winter 2024.
• Variable draft keel with keel control and position indicator panel located at helm station and removable stainless-steel pin, positioned to enable the keel to be locked in the ‘up' position.
• Semi-balanced twin rudders.
• Substantial skeg fitted on centreline to protect propeller.
